Fence Purchase Process Facts

A fence, trellis, or pergola is an important investment for all home and business owners. At Bellevue Fencing, our objective is to provide you with all of the information you need to make an informed decision about your fence, trellis, or pergola. Before your purchase, we recommend you read the following steps to understand as much as possible about our process.


Initial Inquiry: Call, email, or fill out our online quote form. We'll collect your contact information, answer any questions you may have, and help you narrow down your fence, trellis, or pergola's details.


Sales Estimate: We will schedule an appointment to meet with you. A member of our sales staff will review and measure your yard and help you select the type and style of fence, trellis, or pergola that would best suit your needs. In most cases, you will receive an emailed proposal within 1-3 business days.


Sales Contract: When you are ready to proceed, you may electronically sign the contract and submit it to us with the appropriate deposit.


Installation: Once the contract is signed, we will order any necessary materials and contact you to schedule an installation date. We work on a first come, first serve basis. Scheduling back-logs usually range from 3-4 weeks during the winter and 5-6 weeks during the summer. We ask that you be available for approximately 10-15 minutes on the first day of the installation for one final review of the layout of your fence, trellis, or pergola and final gate placements. A typical residential installation will be completed in 2-5 days, depending on the size of job.


Completion: Once the fence, trellis, or pergola is installed, we will review the job with you to ensure that the finished product meets your satisfaction. We will then submit an invoice to you for the balance that is due. Please give the install foreman cash or check for the appropriate amount at this time, if you do not want to use a credit/debit card.

Do you obtain a fence permit if I need one?

We do not apply for any permits; the homeowner is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits. Additionally, all HOA restrictions must be addressed to us before to installation. We have no means of knowing if your fence styles are governed by a Home Owners Association.

Do you construct retaining walls or masonry pillars?

We do not perform any type of masonry work, but we can attach fencing to brick or block pillars that already exist. Additionally, we can construct fences and gates to which masonry can be added later.

Do you have automated gates?

We do not automate anything, nor do we have a certified electrician on staff. However we can construct your gate to withstand any automation you may add in the future.
